Dear everyone,
My name is Mike Bertelsen, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Denmark. I made www.Sp34k.com as a personal portfolio with some of the “artworks” I make, but throughout the years I’ve thought of offering everything I make for free, it has always been a dream for me to have a website with a lot of different sourcefiles for people to download for free. Knowledge shouldn’t cost anything, that is my philosophy – and therefor I created Sp34k.com to show what I can make and to offer help, advice and sourcefiles to those who would like to learn, to be inspired and feel that it’s worthwhile visiting my little humble website

I’m not a professional “artist”, there’s thousands of people who can beat me anything so I’m not trying to stand out. I’m a novice when it comes to graphics. But, wouldn’t we all wish there was a website that offered totally free downloads? I’ve always wished for that but every website requires premium memberships and stuff that ends up costing you a monthly fee, I really don’t like that, so I started offering my own work for free – and again… Knowledge should be free

I spend most of my time making the images you see here at my website. But beside making graphics I also spend a lot of time with a dear friend of mine, we have a weekly ritual at a Danish pub where we go for some beers (sometimes a few too many), so I would say my biggest interests are graphics, my friend and just being social

I work daily as a front-end developer at Ultimize-Web here in Denmark. I work with everything the eye on a website. I sometimes design the websites for the costumers but I always do the HTML/CSS/C# programming necessary for the site to run in our CMS.
